Magnesium is an essential nutrient for the formation of healthy bones and teeth and more than 300 enzymatic reactions in our body. Magnesium plays major role in a variety of health aspect including protein formation, B vitamins activation, muscle function support, nerve transmission, blood vessel relaxation, blood clotting, temperature regulation and healthy bowel movements. Magnesium deficiency is common in modern society due to increased consumption of processed foods and depletion of magnesium from agricultural soils. Magesium bisglycinate is magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine. Commonly available forms of magnesium include magnesium oxide and citrate. However, these forms often have poor absorption and could cause diarrhea. Magnesium bisglycinate rarely causes diarrhea and is absorbed four times than the citrate form. It does not break down in the digestive process, enabling a large amount to be absorbed in the intestinal wall.

Best magnesium product I have used

I have tried a variety of brands of magnesium, including different types (citrate/malate/bisglycinate etc…) Nutridom has by far made a noticeable difference in my whoop data, so it is not in my head, but for me objectively beneficial. My recovery scores/sleep scores have been averaging higher and the only change I have made in my diet is this product. A I would recommend it to anyone looking to use magnesium as a sleep/recovery aid. Only downside to this product is it doesn’t taste very well, but I don’t care how bad it tastes considering how well it has worked for me!
