Canada Post Shipping Delays: Service Resumes After December 17

Canada Post workers have been officially mandated by the government to return to work at 8 AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. This comes after nearly a month of halted operations, creating significant delays across the entire shipping network.

While workers will return to their posts, no new parcel pickups are expected until Thursday, December 19, giving Canada Post 48 hours to get their systems back online. The immediate priority will be clearing millions of backlogged parcels already within the network, a process anticipated to take a couple of weeks.

Given these delays, we do not expect to reinstate Canada Post as a shipping option until mid-January 2025. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated as more information becomes available.

For now, we encourage customers to consider our alternative shipping options to ensure timely deliveries. Thank you for your understanding and patience as Canada Post works to restore operations.
