Notice: Canada Post Strike

Shipping Update from SupplementSource.ca
Updated: November 15, 2024

We want to reassure our valued SupplementSource.ca customers that your orders will continue to be delivered despite the Canada Post strike. Below, you'll find answers to frequently asked questions about our shipping and delivery process during this time.

Canada Post Strike FAQ

How is SupplementSource.ca shipping orders during the strike?

We have longstanding relationships with Purolator, UPS, and Couriers Plus, and these carriers will handle shipments during the strike. Additionally, we've partnered with FedEx to expand our shipping options and ensure your orders reach you promptly.

Have delivery times changed?

Our alternate carriers often provide faster and more reliable delivery than Canada Post. While slight delays may occur due to increased shipping volumes, we trust you’ll have a smooth experience.

Are there extra costs for this upgraded shipping service?

No additional fees apply!

  • Orders over $99 still qualify for free shipping when we choose the carrier.
  • If you prefer a specific carrier, you can select it for just $5.
  • For orders under $99, shipping is a flat rate of $9.95 (we choose the carrier).

Please note: Remote locations may incur extra fees, and we’ll contact you before shipping if this applies.

What happens if my package is in transit with Canada Post?

If your order was shipped with Canada Post before the strike, delays are likely until their operations resume. Parcels will be delivered on a first-in, first-out basis once the strike ends.

For shipments via Purolator, UPS, FedEx, or Couriers Plus, delays should be minimal, and tracking information will keep you updated.

Can you ship to PO Boxes during the strike?

Alternate carriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes. If you usually ship to a PO Box, you can update your shipping address to a physical (CIVIC) address during checkout.

To update your address:

  1. Log into your SupplementSource.ca account.
  2. Select "My Account" at the top right of the homepage.
  3. Choose "View Addresses" and add your new address.
  4. Confirm this address is selected during checkout.

If you’ve already placed a PO Box order, contact us with a physical address, and we’ll ship your order with an alternate carrier.

What kind of delays should I expect?

It’s difficult to predict when the Canada Post strike will end. Once services resume, delays are expected due to high shipping volumes. Rest assured; we will continue to prioritize alternate carriers to minimize any disruptions.

We’ll keep this FAQ updated as new information becomes available. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of SupplementSource.ca!
